Tentec, a specialist engineering company and market leader in design and manufacture of bolt tensioning tools and systems for the oil and gas industry is pleased to be showing its new innovative and unique range of equipment at Neftegaz 2012. Exhibiting alongside its new Russian distributor, JSC IBC, the tools will be on display on Stand Number 83B15, located Hall 3, Pavilion 8.

The highlight of the show is the new COMPACT-8 Series of subsea tensioning tools. This innovative range consists of just 8 tensioning tools to cover bolt sizes from ¾” to 4” and are suitable for use on the majority of standard pipe flanges. The Compact-8 subsea tensioners can be used on many specifications of pipeline flanges including the newer SPO/Vector Compact Flanges, In addition to the conventional ANSI B16.5, ANSI B16.47-Series A, API-6A and API-17D flanges. The COMPACT-8 bolt tensioning tools can be supplied with Tentec’s proven heavy-duty split Reaction Nuts. As well as reducing diver fatigue, this unique development increases productivity and ensures the most cost-efficient use of expensive diver time.

In addition to the COMPACT-8 tensioners, Konstantin Smetanich and his team from JSC IBC will be showing a comprehensive range of Tentec’s bolt tightening solutions, including Tentec’s recently introduced hydraulic torque wrench products and visitors to the stand will be able to see examples of Tentec’s Hydraulic Nuts, expertly engineered to offer a method of bolt tensioning multi-bolt applications which greatly improves the integrity of the bolted joint.
