A new research report by RNCOS, “Indian Coal Industry Forecast to 2013”, says that coal powers more than half of India’s electricity plants and demand for this commodity is expected to rise sharply as the one of the largest Asian economy is expanding rapidly. With the growing capacity of steel production, requirement of coking coal is booming in the country.
