Burgturnier tournament offers a foretaste of the Paralympics

Otto Bock HealthCare GmbH presented a dressage test for handicapped riders as part of the Hardenberg Burgturnier this past weekend. Subsidised by the Northeim social and sports foundation, therapeutic riding offers a foretaste of the Paralympics in London.

The Hardenberg Burgturnier has been a symbol of challenging competitions and high-class equestrian sports in a stylish atmosphere for more than 50 years. Before the historic backdrop of the Hardenberg, this tournament is one of the most beautiful equestrian sports events in Europe.

We would like to congratulate winner Elke Philipp, who scored 14.5 with her warmblood horse Rousseau G in level Ia. Congratulations also go out to Michael Wimme, who scored 15.5 with Alcazar in level III, and to Bettina Bayreuther and Da-Capo with a score of 16.5 in level IV.
