MEI's Adobe Digital Publishing Suite Customer Base Continues to Expand
Press release from: Managing Editor Inc.
Jenkintown, PA (May 15, 2012) — Managing Editor Inc. (MEI) today announced continued growth for the Adobe® Digital Publishing Suite™. This expansion includes sales of Adobe DPS — the preeminent solution for creating engaging, reader-friendly tablet content — to new customers as well as upgrades and renewals for existing users.
MEI has worked closely with Adobe on DPS since before the software became publicly available in May 2011 and is the leading Adobe DPS reseller worldwide by a large margin. Some of the company’s most recent Adobe DPS buyers include the San Diego Zoo, Active Interest Media, Academy of Art University and Dow Jones Content Lab.
Several of MEI’s long-standing Adobe DPS clients, including Syracuse University and Benjamin Moore, have upgraded their DPS Professional systems to DPS Enterprise. The Enterprise level offers the most powerful options for tablet publishing, among them the ability to build in-house applications for private distribution, as well as advanced subscription fulfillment and management with direct entitlement. DPS Enterprise customers can also create and configure customized, dynamic landing views and storefronts using MEI Portico™, the company’s new DPS add-on solution.
Other MEI customers have responded to their tablet success by purchasing service renewals and additional download packages to accommodate increasing numbers of readers. Among these DPS users are Hill Holiday, BNP Media, Magic Magazine and Kranitz Enterprises Inc.
“As our tablet-publishing user base continues to grow, it’s also becoming more and more diverse,” said Craig Roth, senior vice president of sales at MEI. “Creative teams in several markets are discovering how easy it is to get their content onto iPads and other devices thanks to Adobe DPS.”
