Ottobock is a Top Employer
Press release from: Otto Bock HealthCare GmbH
96th place on the trendence barometer: numerous career entry and advancement opportunities.
Otto Bock HealthCare GmbH is one of the top employers for up-and-coming engineers: in the "trendence Graduate Barometer 2012", the medical equipment company holds 96th place in the "German Engineering Edition". Ottobock has moved up another ten spots compared to the prior year, coming out ahead of renowned companies such as Deutsche Telekom, Henkel and Hewlett-Packard.
The "trendence Graduate Barometer" published in manager magazine is the most comprehensive study for the evaluation of employers by university graduates. This year's record response by 36,000 participants from a total of 130 universities underscores the great importance of the topic. Companies are evaluated according to criteria such as innovativeness, success of the company and employment opportunities abroad.
The international family company Ottobock headquartered in Duderstadt with sales and service locations in 46 countries offers numerous career entry and advancement opportunities for graduates. Here the orthobionics course of studies at Göttingen Private University of Applied Sciences, in close cooperation between the university and Ottobock, constitutes an entirely new opportunity. The objective of the course of studies is to improve the quality of patient fittings by combining skills of the trade with scientific content. The general qualification for university entrance or advanced technical college entrance qualification is required for the orthobionics course of studies (Bachelor of Science degree).
Ottobock will also be present with a career information point at Orthopädie + Reha-Technik, the industry's leading international trade fair, from 16 to 18 May in Leipzig.
