McCollister's Transportation Group Celebrates One Year Since Moving "Mummies of the World" Exhibit

This April marked one year since McCollister’s Transportation Group, Inc. moved the “Mummies of the World” exhibit into the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia, PA. McCollister’s specialized transportation and logistics service was used to coordinate the exhibit’s move into the internationally-recognized museum.
The exhibit included 45 mummies of humans and animals from all over the world, ranging from 250 years old to more than 6,500 years old. It was the largest traveling exhibition of mummies ever assembled, with Philadelphia scheduled as the third of seven U.S. stops.
“Looking back on the project, I am pleased to report that it was a tremendous success,” said Dan McCollister, President of McCollister’s Transportation Group. “All the components of the transportation plan were executed perfectly and the exhibit opened on time without any problems. We are proud to have been involved in helping to facilitate this fascinating display’s arrival in Philadelphia.”
This exhibit transportation was not the first, or last, of its kind for McCollister’s. The company has extensive experience in specialized transportation, designing custom solutions for each client’s project. McCollister’s specialized transportation and logistics service includes time definite services, dedicated art services staff, museum relocations, estate planning and relocations, and international freight forwarding services.
