This new capability offers a full spectrum of testing, inspections and audits with services including physical and colorfastness testing, functional quality testing, fiber analysis, and restricted substances testing. The textile testing laboratory is accredited to ISO 17025 by the National Accreditation Body of Indonesia, and the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), and can provide physical and chemical tests to determine if products meet international and national standards such as ISO, BS, DIN, AATCC, ASTM, CPSC etc.
Formerly known as the Japan Spinners Inspecting Foundation, BOKEN (http://www.boken.or.jp/eng/jsif.html) is Japan’s leading general testing and inspection organization. It was established in 1948 to promote the export and overall quality of textile products and conducts inspections, testing and research with a focus on textiles.
Since 1989, BOKEN and SGS have enjoyed a close business partnership. This latest collaboration combines the global technical expertise of both companies, in the textile and garment industry, used to produce a range of world class physical and chemical testing services.
