H.E. Gabriel Obiang Lima hosts international oil & gas leaders in Equatorial Guinea

Equatorial Guinea Ministry of Mines, Industry & Energy will host the CWC Group's 15th Gulf of Guinea Oil & Gas Conference (GOG15) in Malabo, June 19-21, 2012. The event is the most senior forum to focus on West Africa's growing hydrocarbon sector and confirmed to be inaugurated by country’s President, H.E. Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo.
Both H.E. Marcelino Owono Edu, Minister of Mines, Industry & Energy and H.E. Gabriel Obinag Lima, Minister Delegate of Mines, Industry & Energy have been personally involved in inviting energy ministers from across the region and confirmed participation from H.E. Celestin Mbuyu Kabango, Minister of Hydrocarbons, Democratic Republic of Congo, H.E. Andre Raphael Loemba, Minister of Hydrocarbons, Republic of Congo, H.E. Dr Miguel Trovoada, Executive Secretary, Gulf of Guinea Commission Dr Levi Ajuonuma, NNPC’s Group General Manager among many others.
According to Gabriel Obiang Lima, Equatorial Guinea's Minister Delegate of Mines, Industry & Energy, who has attended the GOG conferences for the last 6 years "GOG has always impressed with the seniority of participants and the high level of discussion. It is the ideal platform to promote the development of indigenous companies in the oil and gas industry in West Africa." He said, "I look forward to welcoming [delegates] to Malabo for what will be a very productive and enjoyable meeting."
The event is expected to bring together more than 300 top executives, decision-makers and leaders in the field from countries around the region and internationally. It provides a great opportunity to network and participate in a variety of meetings and discussions regarding the industry's future and the continued development of hydrocarbons in the area.
