Photo Contest winners announced by Asian stock photography site, Photokore
Press release from: Photokore
Winners of the ‘Asian Flavors’ photo contest hosted by Asia-based microstock photography company, Photokore, were announced today on www.photokore.com .
“We were delighted with the response to the contest, but it was the quality of submissions that really made this contest stand out,” said Sean Mooney, President and CEO of Photokore. “As this year’s contest winners were all determined by the votes of Photokore members, it was also fascinating to see which images they selected.”
The theme of the ‘Asian Flavors’ photo contest was for each photographer to submit photos that they felt best represented their perception of Asia. First-place, second-place, and third-place prizes were awarded to the three photos voted to best represent Asia – in a ‘People’ category, and a ‘Still Life/Objects’ category. In addition, a Special Prize was awarded to the photographer who submitted the most photos that followed the contest theme.
The contest ran from March 1st through April 15th, and gathered a total of 10,415 entries from 561 Artists living in 67 countries around the world.
The winning photos can be viewed at www.photokore.com/photocontest/Asianflavors/winners, which also includes a video compilation of the 30 best submissions.
