Press release from: Gardere Wynne Sewell LLP
PR Agency: Androvett Legal Media & Marketing
DALLAS – Attorney Celeste R. Yeager, Vice-Chair of the Hospitality Industry Team at Gardere Wynne Sewell LLP, is slated to participate in the 2012 Labor and Employment Roundtable hosted by The Center for Hospitality Research (CHR) at the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University. The event will be held May 6-7 at the Cornell University campus in Ithaca, N.Y.
This is the 11th annual Labor and Employment Roundtable organized by CHR and the third time Ms. Yeager has been invited to participate. Topics will include a range of hot industry issues, including: neutrality agreements, arbitration, corporate campaigns and RICO, and the employer’s approach to unions.
“The roundtable combines timely practical experiences from company executives and practicing lawyers across the nation with ‘outside the box’ academic thinkers,” says Ms. Yeager. “It will be an invaluable day of brainstorming on how to deal with or effect change on pressing issues affecting employers in the hospitality industry.”
The roundtable provides an interactive and engaging meeting place for a small number of invited senior-level executives, Cornell University faculty members, and research scholars affiliated with CHR. Each session typically begins with a short research presentation, open-ended remarks, or guiding questions offered by the designated moderator. Cornell students and other faculty members often listen in on the discussions and converse with panelists during session breaks. For additional information, please visit the CHR site at www.hotelschool.cornell.edu/research/chr/ or email mlp1@cornell.edu.
In addition to her leadership role with the Hospitality Industry Team, Ms. Yeager chairs the Firm’s Immigration and Naturalization Practice and is a partner in Gardere’s Labor and Employment Practice Group. Ms. Yeager is Board Certified in Labor and Employment Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and regularly represents employers nationally in all types of employment disputes, including class and collective actions before local, state, and federal administrative agencies and courts.
Gardere Wynne Sewell LLP, an AmLaw 200 firm founded in 1909 and one of the Southwest’s largest full-service law firms, has offices in Austin, Dallas, Houston and Mexico City. Comments about openPR
OpenPR ist the nicest and most clearly laid out PR platform I have seen to this day. The press releases are displayed very nicely and clearly and without any unnecessary frills.
The updates are fast and the finished release looks appealing and is clearly legible.
Even with 16 years of experience one discovers new things from time to time.
Congratulations!
