New: DssMover Portable makes it easy to send dictations without installing new software

London, 27 April, 2012 – Effective immediately, DssMover Portable, developed by Grundig Business Systems (GBS), is available. For the first time, users can transfer files and send dictations without having to install new software on their computers. They can also use DssMover to quickly and easily configure basic dictation device settings such as author name, transcriber name and e-mail address, and target directory for network transfer. DssMover Portable runs directly on the Digta 7 series dictation devices.

“A Digta 7 equipped with DssMover Portable is great for anyone who wants to remain mobile while they dictate and be able to get their dictations to the secretarial staff quickly – even from constantly changing locations,” says GBS Managing Director Roland Hollstein. There are two ways to send the files: First, dictations can be transferred to a target folder. This option is convenient when the user is working in the same local environment or PC network as the secretarial staff, and both have access to common folders. Second, DssMover Portabe can send dictations by e-mail. The secretarial staff receive the dictations as attachments to an e-mail.

DssMover Portable can be downloaded from the GBS website (www.grundig-gbs.com/en/dssmover) at no cost. Version 1.3 B119 and later versions can be installed on all Digta 7 series devices.
