Bleep UK PLC has partnered with UK based Avery Berkel as its provider of retail weighing systems

UNITED KINGDOM – April 2012 – Bleep UK PLC has partnered with Avery Berkel as their official and exclusive provider of scales and weighing systems. Bleep is proud to announce this integration between Bleep EPOS hardware and software and Avery Berkel’s market leading scales, from the powerful XT range and innovative XM range of products.

Avery Berkel offers a range of compact, free standing scales to suit any operation and configuration, with additional integrated options to meet all requirements. Scales are ideal for bakeries, delicatessens, butchers, supermarkets and any food retail operation that sells fresh, loose goods. This new partnership strengthens the positions of both Bleep and Avery Berkel in being able to target these industries as well as complimenting both companies’ existing product portfolios.

Bleep will be distributing a varied range of Avery Berkel products from the XT and XM series to cover all requirements and needs. XT is a powerful and flexible PC-based scale, with its own suite of weighting and labelling functions, enveloped in a wraparound stainless steel design that perfectly complements contemporary retail counter environments. XM redefines counter scales with communication and innovation and its 8 key patented technologies, designed from the ground up to maximise the retailer's profitability by increasing sales and reducing costs.

Weighing loose goods reduces stock loss and errors as well as providing more accurate sales information regarding weighted produce. Avery Berkel scales, through the unique ValuMax self levelling technology and patented CodeChecker barcode printing feature, provide enhanced counter management and increased profitability, also with the added flexibility for self service set up.
