Presentation to highlight how Saint-Gobain Glass has embraced an SAP ERP and Apriso MES strategy to bring visibility, control and synchronization across their manufacturing operations

Who: M. Clemens Carl, project manager at Saint-Gobain Glass will present how a two-platform based solution of SAP’s (ERP) and Apriso’s FlexNet Manufacturing Execution System (MES) will be deployed across their 20 manufacturing sites to bring visibility, control and synchronization across their manufacturing operations. This implementation is separate from Saint Gobain Sekurit’s deployment of Apriso’s FlexNet.

What: Attendees will hear how Saint-Gobain Glass identified a need for tighter integration between ERP and the shop floor to support its continuous improvement programs as well as standardize the “Best Practices” in their plants worldwide. M. Clemens Carl will explain how working with the Apriso implementation team is allowing Saint-Gobain Glass to better identify and distribute best practices by using a Core profile, which can then be deployed across locations. This approach is flexible enough to be easily modified to meet local conditions while supporting continuous process improvement.
