cVidya to Deploy Its Revenue Assurance Solution at HOT, Largest Cable TV Provider in Israel
Press release from: cVidya
Deployment to include full, ongoing Revenue Assurance (RA) support and business consulting for TV, broadband, telephony, and VOD operations
London, April 23, 2012 - cVidya Networks, (www.cvidya.com) a global leader and innovative provider of Revenue Intelligence solutions for Telecom, Media and Entertainment service providers, announced today that their MoneyMap® Revenue Assurance solution will be deployed at HOT, the Israeli triple-play service provider. HOT is the largest cable television provider in Israel with additional internet and telephony offerings as well as video-on-demand. With this deployment, cVidya will be providing complete Revenue Assurance services and business consulting for HOT’s TV, broadband, telephony, and VOD operations.
cVidya will assist HOT in upgrading its Revenue Assurance operation and setting up its relevant methodologies by developing with them a dedicated department to handle these activities. Among the numerous aspects of this Revenue Assurance contract with HOT, cVidya will specifically focus on delivering provisioning assurance between network and billing components for TV, internet, and telephony services, traffic and usage assurance from “switch to bill”, and video-on-demand transaction validation.
“cVidya has been invaluable to us from the beginning of this project,” commented Israel Lederberg, CFO of HOT Telecommunication Systems. “In the initial stages of the consulting project, the team from cVidya immediately identified leakage areas and greatly reduced losses. The ability to identify the risks and priority revenue leakage spots make cVidya the ideal vendor for HOT. With their technology deployed in our systems and ongoing consulting on daily processes and activities, we know that cVidya will have a major impact on our bottom line.”
“We are very happy to work with HOT on improving their Revenue Assurance operation,” said Alon Aginsky, president and CEO of cVidya Networks. “HOT is the largest triple-play cable provider in Israel – and they want to ensure their end to end revenue value chain is protected as they continue to grow. I am sure that cVidya’s experience and leadership in the Revenue Intelligence space will assist HOT in creating a sophisticated operation to help minimize leakages and identify new revenue opportunities.”
cVidya’s MoneyMap® solution enables operators to correlate and consolidate information from all network, operations and business systems. Through an on-going process, it automatically detects problem areas which impact profitability as a result of revenue leakage, data inconsistencies or resources that are not being used efficiently. Once MoneyMap® identifies the areas of revenue leakage and resource inefficiency, it provides the user with intuitive tools to promptly correct and manage the problems to achieve profit maximization.
