Tesla Wars, one of the most popular iOS tower defense titles, is free for a limited time
Tesla Wars for iPhone and iPad is one of the most popular tower defense games with over 2.5 million downloads. The unique gameplay combines tower defense and arcade genres into an action-packed addicting mix. Tesla Wars originality and explosive fun have ensured uncountable positive reviews of competent critics. In collaboration with Cult of Mac the game will be free for a week from April 20.

Tesla Wars mixes tower defense and arcade genres to create an absolutely new experience both for tower defense fans and arcade addicts.

Gameplay Overview:
Synaptic Wave has found a way to fight the monotony of ordinary specimen of the genre. Before the battle the player will plan his strategy for the next round. But as he starts it he’ll turn from the Testa coil commander to its sole soldier to fry up enemies with electrical charges. The fast-paced rounds have nothing in common with the ordinary tower defense sameness. At the same time, elements of strategic planning diversify the action and assure a great replayability.

Unexpected Enemies:
There are 15 types of enemies in the Tesla Wars. Each one has its own tactics, strengths and weaknesses. The early ones are very easy to defeat. The later ones require specific strategies. Some of the most interesting enemy types include Bombardier flying a glider, kamikaze Rider and Mad Mantis handling two submachine guns.

Special Weapons:
While the player starts the game with the electrical charges only, the rewards can be spent to obtain the Special weapons. The 13 Specials include Mines, Air Strike, Freeze, Toxic Bombs, Death Ray and others. Each Special is unique, e.g. the Earthquake is effective against surface troops but it doesn't affect flying enemies. Numerous Specials provide vast possibilities to vary the game tactics. Individualized special effects of each weapon improve the playing experience, excite and electrify you. Besides, using the Special weapons facilitates completing the later levels, when zapping is not enough.

Tesla Wars will be free to download during a very limited time promotion from April 20.

Further information and promocodes after the end of the promotion period are available on request.
