The Festivals of Speed event series is returning to Central Florida in May 2012 to feature exotic and vintage vehicles, fine wines, and Louis XIII de Remy Martin for a luxury lifestyle weekend at the Mission Inn Resort and Club. On display will be automotive designs by Ferrari, Rolls-Royce, Lamborghini, Bugatti, Porsche, Fisker, Aston-Martin, BMW, Mercedes, McLaren, and more as well as fine wines, exciting culinary offerings, robust cigars, smooth jazz, and high-end lifestyle displays.

Orlando, FL, April 20, 2012 -- The weekend of May 5th and May 6th 2012, Festivals of Speed will once again hold a Motorsports Gathering & Luxury Lifestyle Display at the Mission Inn Resort and Club to benefit the Alliance Healthcare Foundation. Throughout this unique event weekend, located just 30 minutes northwest of Orlando in Howey-in-the-Hills, attendees will have a rare opportunity to appreciate automotive masterpieces of design and engineering in a setting that if both festive and elegant.

Adorned with Spanish architecture, spring fed lakes and historic oaks, the 1000 acre Mission Inn Resort & Golf Club welcomes guests from around the globe with the grace and hospitality of a plush private estate. While the car enthusiast in the family relishes in the "Rolling Sculptures" on display, others can enjoy the spa, tennis, golf, skeet shooting, boating, fine dining and other amenities on location. Featured events of the weekend include the Saturday morning “Dealer Ride and Drive”, Saturday evening Wine Connoisseur’s Dinner and Louis XIII tasting, and a 300 vehicle Motorsports Gathering on Sunday.

Prior to the main event, on Saturday, May 5th, the spectacular rolling countryside surrounding this Northwest Orlando resort will play host to the Festivals of Speed Dealer Ride and Drive. Here, qualified guests and enthusiasts will have the opportunity to get behind the wheel, and test drive new vehicles from names like Ferrari, Lamborghini, Bentley, Rolls-Royce, McLaren, and more. Continuing on to Saturday evening at Mission Inn’s La Hacienda restaurant, The Festivals of Speed will host a VIP Wine Connoisseurs Dinner. This exclusive event includes handcrafted cocktails and a multi-course meal served with each dish paired to a specially chosen wine. Following the dinner will be fine cigars and a Louis XIII tasting on the terrace.

On Sunday, May 6th the Motorsports Display will feature 300 of the world’s finest vintage and contemporary vehicles be set for display on the plush fairway of the Mission Inn Resort & Club’s Championship Golf Course. Attendees will experience automotive designs by Ferrari, Rolls-Royce, Lamborghini, Bugatti, Porsche, Aston-Martin, BMW, Mercedes, McLaren, and more and while encountering fine wines, exciting culinary offerings, robust cigars, smooth jazz, and luxury lifestyle displays featuring fine jewelry and timepieces.
