Efficient process automation and optimized offline programming with CENIT

Stuttgart, 17 April 2012 – At this year’s AUTOMATICA from 22 to 25 May in Munich, CENIT will showcase innovative solutions from FASTSUITE, a proprietary product toolbox for automating manufacturing processes. CENIT’s participation in the trade fair will concentrate on the FASTSUITE solutions as they apply to the field of robotics.

Under the motto “Efficiency just needs one solution”, CENIT’s product lifecycle management experts will be on-site at our Booth No. 129 in Hall B2, focusing on robot-guided processes and technologies for the automotive and aerospace industries.

CENIT’s fair booth will offer visitors insights into our sector-specific, end-to-end solutions for special sub-processes, e.g. laser trimming, paint application, cladding, riveting and shot peening. Efficiency boosts thanks to perfectly fine-tuned processes offer quick-victory but nevertheless sustained cost-saving benefits. In association with Jenoptik, CENIT will present a real-life scenario for 3D laser trimming of a VW Polo Stim wall. Here the visitors can witness the on-the-ground advantages of optimized robot cell offline programming and simulation.

Further live demonstrations will be devoted to the many ways in which the software solution CENIT FASTSUITE can be applied to the efficient, simple, geometry-based offline programming (OLP) of robot cells. “FASTSUITE OLP is successful for one main reason: Because it enables the geometry-based programming and simulation of the widest imaginable range of complex robot applications and technologies via a single, uniform standard software. We do this by relying on methods that have long become established as industry standards in the 3D CAD/CAM world, and which we are now carrying forward to the world of robotics.
