Pyknic releases "Creatures" Snapback Hat for Spring 2012

Press release from: PYKNIC

The food-inspired clothing range, Pyknic, recently introduced their “Creatures” snapback hat as an early taste of what is to come with the Spring 2012 collection. The dark gray crown with black brim hat features the company’s signature Humphrey (the hippo) logo on the front complimented by “Pyknic” and “Creatures” embroidery.

DeSales University '09 graduates, Stephen Thompson, 25, of Robbinsville, NJ and Andrew Marshall, 26, of Vestal, NY, started their business while juggling college educations and commitments to the University's men's soccer team in 2006.

The streetwear line has been worn by the likes of Mac Miller’s DJ Clockwork, singer/songwriter Blackbear, Mod Sun, Perrion, The Ready Set, and Roble Ali of Bravo’s Chef Roble & Co. Pyknic has also been featured in “The Source” Magazine and the duo was named to Bloomberg Businessweek’s America’s Best Young Entrepreneurs 2010.

"We focus on relationships with our customers and the quality of our product.” says Stephen Thompson.

Marshall and Thompson, who go by the pseudo-names "The Chef" and "The Butcher", have created the lifestyle brand as an outlet for their culture of food, sport, friends, and music. Pyknic's premium t-shirts are illustrated with food concepts in mind, retailing for about $20 on their website (www.pyknic.com).
