Outback Riviera A New Travel Guide to the French Riviera backcountry
Press release from: Outback Riviera
PR Agency: Maffini & Bearce
Outback Riviera is a Nature Lover’s Paradise beyond the French Riviera coast.
The French Riviera is a popular tourist destination known worldwide for its beaches on the Mediterranean and the glitter and glamour of Cannes, Saint Tropez, and Monte Carlo. But this region has much more to offer beyond the coastal cities and towns. Travel further inland and discover the alpine foothills, its hilltop villages, midway between the beaches and ski resorts, some dating back to the 11th Century. It is the home of several natural parks, and thousands of species of flowers and animals.
Outback Riviera is a newly created association promoting sports and cultural activities in the backcountry above the French Riviera coast in the South of France.
The association transmits information via its website: OutbackRiviera.com.
hoping to reach the potential visitors to the region as well as the local Anglophone population, the site is in English.
The aim is to provide information on the small inland villages located in the backcountry known as the “arrière-pays” in French, advertise local events, and offer English speaking visitors the possibility of arranging accommodations and activities in the region before their arrival, so they can make the most of their visit to the region.
Outdoor activities include hiking, mountain biking, cycling, rock climbing, canoeing, and canyoning. Cultural activities include winetasting, French cooking, yoga, nutrition counseling, stress management, photography safaris, art workshops & museum tours.
All activities listed on the site are provided by local licensed mountain guides, and qualified instructors, in partnership with outside experts in certain fields. Suitable for family groups, clubs or businesses activities are custom-tailored according to groups’ preferences, length of stay and abilities.
Weeklong workshops are offered throughout the year, therefore extending the summer tourist season, into the cooler Spring and Autumn months, perfect for hiking and biking activities, to help support the local communities.
Book a Multi-activity Holiday for your family, group or business and discover the Outback!
