Supply chain solutions provider SBS Worldwide has appointed Richard Perriman to the role of UK General Manager of Sales.

His appointment comes as SBS Worldwide continues with its global growth strategy to expand in new and existing industry verticals.

Mr. Perriman will work closely with the Business Development team to drive business growth in key markets by selling SBS Worldwide’s ability to offer global supply chain solutions tailored to customer’s individual requirements.

Steve Walker, SBS Worldwide Group Chairman, said: “Richard has a wealth of industry knowledge and experience, ranging from trade lane development through to managing sales teams.

“He will be a valuable addition to our team and will be working with our customers to optimise their supply chains and increase sales by offering the wide range of services and solutions we have at our disposal.”

Mr. Perriman has 25 years’ experience in the industry, working for a variety of freight forwarders. Most recently he was Vice President of Trade Lane Development at a leading global logistics company.
