Postcode Anywhere Supports LiquidShop Successful Ecommerce Award 2012

Worcester, UK – 27 March 2012 – Address data specialist Postcode Anywhere is to join ecommerce authorities LiquidShop, IMRG, Sitemakers and PayPal in sponsoring the 2012 LiquidShop Successful ecommerce award.

The award seeks to encourage the development of independent ecommerce enterprises and to highlight the increasing importance of ecommerce for all retail businesses in the UK.

The award includes a prize package with a combined value of over £20,000, including Postcode Anywhere’s UK and international address validation and “where’s my nearest?” store finder services for 12 months. It also includes the LiquidShop ecommerce platform, website design, hosting and ongoing support from Sitemakers for 12 months; PayPal Express card payment services for 12 months; and full IMRG retailer membership for 12 months.

The annual award is designed to provide practical help for an emerging online business. The winner of the award needs to demonstrate that they have a sound business plan and the motivation and energy to be successful. In return, they receive support from participating sponsors to help them develop and grow their ecommerce business.

Applications are sought from new and existing retail businesses, judged drawn from the
sponsoring companies. The winner will launch their new website in October, to begin trading immediately.
