(openPR) - DJ Misjah organises an online remix contest on the FOEM website to discover unknown talents. The contest starts on June 1 and ends August 31, 2007. There are record deals on Tsunami Records (division of Purple Eye Entertainment) as first prizes. A special prize is a remix of one of the artists’ self produced tracks back from DJ Misjah.

The artists can remix remix the unreleases track “Misjah vs. Oedla – Violence”. The samples as well as the original track can be downloaded on www.foem.info. FOEM contests are traditionally with modern, progressive producers. The last FOEM contests were made with Gabriel Ananda (Karmarouge), Cosmic Sandwich (Traum Schallplatten) and Secret Cinema (Team Records).

The name Misjah has been synonymous with quality dance floor productions for over 17 years. He is considered to be one of the first to start Happy Hardcore and Acid Techno / Hardhouse. An innovator, an inspiration and living legend to many.

DJ Misjah started the legendary X-Tracks label in 1994. The label released many dancefloor classics. In 2001 he started a new label called ReRun and ReRun Bookings DJ Agency. The agency is responsible for booking some major players in the techno scene such as Hardcell, Trevor Rockcliffe, etc.

FOEM is an independent A&R agency, promotion agency, licensing agency, talent resource and netlabel, driven by people from all over the planet. Their intention is to distribute electronic music from artists of all electronic music genres. The CDs are downloaded by private individuals as well as by talent scouts, record labels, advertising agencies and companies which need the music as content for their media productions. FOEM negotiates the contracts for the artists.

DJ Misjah and FOEM invite everybody who is capable to produce a killer dancefloor track to join the contest. The participation is for free. It´s a chance for unknown artists to get in touch with record labels and successful producers.
