The international supplier of transport equipment, LKE from Marl, Germany, hired Marten Büttner as the new head of its Global Mail division at the beginning of February 2011.
Marten Büttner, age 48, looks back at more than 20 years of experience in the global postal industry. He started his career with the consulting company Arthur D. Little in which he became director for the Travel & Transportation department as well as a member of the Global Management Team. He established business of Arthur D. Little with clients like Deutsche Post as well as other well-known industry players. Moreover, he held management positions in the industry and with the international business school ESMT in Berlin. For the last two years, Marten Büttner had been leading a company-wide transformation program for the postal services in Malaysia as an interim manager.
