CoreMedia expands in Scandinavia: Aspiro selects CoreMedia

Hamburg, May 30, 2007 – CoreMedia, the global provider of software solutions for convergent content business, announced today that Aspiro, Nordic market leader for the distribution of mobile content services, has selected CoreMedia DRM to secure their rich media content on its way to consumers.

Aspiro (www.aspiro.com), headquartered in Sweden, creates and supplies mobile entertainment, information and community services to consumers. Aspiro just announced that they will supply the music store on the Norwegian mobile portals of the Nordic telecom group Telenor. In the new music store users can download music to their mobile phones or PCs - protected by CoreMedia DRM. Some 700,000 tracks are available to customers, with this range including music from all the major record companies like Universal, Warner Music, EMI and SonyBMG.

With Aspiro’s services, consumers can watch TV, listen to music, interact in communities and enjoy games and other activities on their mobile phones or on the Internet.
