Comarch Fault Management supports Orange and T-Mobile’s infrastructure sharing initiative in Poland
Press release from: Comarch S.A.
Comarch, a global provider of end-to-end solutions for telecommunications, announced today that NetWorks! a joint venture Orange's PTK Centertel, Poland's largest mobile operator, and T-Mobile's PTC (Polska Telefonia Cyfrowa), selected Comarch’s Fault Management system to support its infrastructure sharing strategy.
Both partners entered a 15-year agreement for sharing mobile access network in July 2011. The joint venture has been formed by the operators to manage and develop their consolidated 2G,3G network now and 4G network in the future, with the aim of enhancing network coverage and quality. This is the first infrastructure sharing case in Poland.
Comarch’s Fault Management will ensure that both PTK Centertel and PTC will receive an appropriate quality of their network at the resource level, while also benefiting from fair competition in the service and product layer. The underlying concept of the architecture of Comarch OSS Suite makes it able to support both resource and service layers, where the first one can be managed by the so called NetCo and the second one by the so called ServCo.
“When searching for a partner in this project, we wanted to find a company with a system that has been proven by multiple operators and will make the cut to support our business scenario with all its complexity. Comarch Fault Management has all the necessary functionalities to support an infrastructure sharing scenario, which has been already appreciated by numerous Tier 1 operators.” – says Przemysław Żulewski, Mobile Systems Developmnet Expert - NetWorks!
“Selecting Comarch as a partner for this project shows that Comarch presents market responsiveness to the shift in network infrastructure management trends and delivers strong OSS products to support infrastructure sharing initiatives. This cooperation will also prove Comarch Fault Management’s ability to support this joint venture in serving almost 30 mln subscribers.” – says Piotr Piątosa, VP Telecommunications at Comarch SA.

Comments about openPR
OpenPR ist the nicest and most clearly laid out PR platform I have seen to this day. The press releases are displayed very nicely and clearly and without any unnecessary frills.
The updates are fast and the finished release looks appealing and is clearly legible.
Even with 16 years of experience one discovers new things from time to time.
Congratulations!
