Davidson Communities to Open Miraval in Carmel Valley on March 3

With a legacy of building iconic new neighborhoods in San Diego, Davidson Communities will launch its latest gated enclave of large family homes in Carmel Valley’s 92130 zip code next Saturday, March 3 at 10 a.m.

With up to six bedrooms, Davidson’s Miraval offers 41 single-family detached homes on sites averaging over 6,000 square feet. Plans were designed by WHA and Design Line Interiors with flexibility to accommodate any family configuration, with a downstairs master bedroom suite in all three floor plans.

Pricing is expected to begin from the mid $700,000s. A selection of premium view home sites is also available.

Miraval’s three plans range from 2,793 to 3,287 square feet and offer four to six bedrooms, 3.5 to 4.5 bathrooms, and a two-car garage. Capitalizing on its elevated access to trails and open space, living areas open completely to the outdoors by eight-foot glass sliders.

Among the family-friendly options are oversized kitchen islands that range up to 10’ long, with seating for six. These table-sized gourmet islands can also function as a homework station. Another convenience designed by Davidson is a “drop zone,” connecting the garage to the kitchen, for backpacks and groceries.

Other kitchen features include shaker door styled maple cabinetry, granite slab countertops and backsplash, stainless steel Whirlpool “Gold” series appliances and commercial style canopy hoods.

Master suites showcase “Vintage” fixtures, an exclusive line of bathroom hardware designed by Davidson Communities and manufactured in Carlsbad. Another custom feature included in the home is a 6’ oval soaking tub.

Energy-efficient and sustainable features include re-circulating pump water heaters, digital programmable thermostats, insulated formaldehyde-free exterior walls and ceilings, energy-efficient exterior and under-cabinet lighting, and the use of eco-friendly wood products.

Miraval will offer two passive parks and one tot lot for exclusive use of the residents. There is also access to an extensive trail system that runs behind the property.

Motorists passing the intersection of Carmel Valley Road and Caminito Vistana will note Davidson’s signature entry gate, anchored by a mature Pepper tree and 30-foot water feature. The Del Mar- based homebuilder is also widening a portion of Carmel Valley Road from two to four lanes and is adding new public landscaping.

Children residing in Miraval are within the Poway Unified School District and will attend Willow Grove Elementary, Black Mountain Middle School and Westview High School. Nearby private schools include Cathedral Catholic High School and the San Diego Jewish Academy.
