New Frontiers Exporter Award

Fredericton, NB Canada, May 24, 2007 -- The New Frontiers Exporter Award, presented by Business New Brunswick Minister Greg Byrne and Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters (CME) president and CEO, Perrin Beatty was accepted by Mrs. Dolores Whalen, VP Internal of LuminUltra Technologies Ltd., during the CME’s 55th Annual General Meeting at the Delta Fredericton on May 23, 2007.

The New Frontiers Exporter award represents the achievement of LuminUltra in the development of niche export markets in all corners of the world, including Canada, the United States, France, Belgium, Sweden, Finland, Austria, Japan, and Singapore. First presented in 1967, the Export Achievement Awards are a joint initiative of the Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters and the Government of New Brunswick.

LuminUltra Technologies Ltd. specializes in the development, sales and service of innovative biological monitoring technologies. The company has worked over the past 3 years to market a patent-pending product that represents the culmination of over 10 years of development. This product provides a direct, real-time measurement of total microbiological concentration and health in any water sample. It measures the molecule Adenosine Triphosphate, or ATP, which is a component of all living cells.

The ability to measure ATP in any water application is a game-changing approach that can revolutionize the ability of water process operators to protect public health, improve cost-efficiency, reduce energy consumption, optimize chemical usage, and reduce environmental impact.
