ANDERSON LAW FIRM CELEBRATES 22 YEARS AT HISTORIC OFFICE BUILDING

On January 30, 2012 the law firm of TIMOTHY ANDERSON, PA celebrated its 22nd year of being located in The Anderson Building at 213 S. Brevard Ave., Tampa, Florida. Built in 1907 in Tampa’s historic Hyde Park district, the 3,000 sf, 2-story structure was originally constructed as a classic southern mansion. In 1990, it was acquired by Attorney Timothy Anderson who converted it to office space to house his law firm. Most of the building’s architectural elements, like its oak floors, working fireplaces, and 12’ ceilings have been preserved or restored to their original condition to maintain the charm and character of early 20th century Tampa. Today, it combines modern technology with old-world charm to create a comfortable atmosphere for the staff and clients alike.

Tim Anderson, Sr., said, “We are proud of our continuing contribution to Tampa’s historic preservation initiative. We feel like this is a vital part of our community involvement strategy.”

The firm also contributes to the community by proudly sponsoring a broad spectrum of organizations ranging from The American Legion, Boy Scouts of America, youth soccer leagues, community dance theaters, guided tours of the Hillsborough County Courthouse for the public schools during their observation of Law Week and the Elves for Elders program.

In 1983, Tim Anderson, Sr. was one of the first attorneys to qualify under the Florida Bar’s board certification system, which distinguishes those attorneys who demonstrate excellence and expertise in their chosen area of practice. Of the Florida bar's more than 93,000 member attorneys less than 1% have been continuously board certified as an expert in Civil Trial Practice for more than 28 years.

In 2008, his son, Tim, Jr., a University of Florida law grad, joined the firm and together they continue the firm's legacy of personal attention and professional expertise.
