Isabella’s Cookie Company Sponsors Milk + Bookies Event Series
Press release from: Konnect PR
(openPR) - Los Angeles, CA (February 9, 2012) – Isabella’s Cookie Company, the premium baker of freshly-made treats, is proud to sponsor Milk + Bookies by donating their gourmet cookies at its Los Angeles event series. As the non-profit’s “official cookie” supplier, the bakery will provide heavenly sweet snacks for attendees of upcoming private events at The Grove in Los Angeles’ Barnes & Noble on February 12th, and Pasadena’s Little Junebugs’ Harry Potter Spectacular on February 25th.
As a nationwide charitable organization, Milk + Bookies inspires children to give back, using books as its currency. In support of the non-profit, Isabella’s Cookie Company has developed a treat specifically for the Milk + Bookies non-profit called the Milk + Bookies Cookies that will be served at the upcoming events, as well as sold online with a portion of the proceeds going to aid the charity’s initiatives. Baked with tasty brown sugar and sweet chocolate chips, these yummy goodies are intended as the perfect companion with a glass of milk while engaged in a great book.
“Milk + Bookies is the ideal partner for Isabella’s Cookie Company as it echoes our philosophy towards childhood education,” said Jennifer Palmer, founder of Isabella’s Cookie Company. “As huge advocates of literacy, we hope that our donations will help the charity provide more kids with the gift of reading. We couldn’t imagine a more wonderful organization to team up with than Milk + Bookies.”
The Barnes and Noble event will take place at The Grove located at 189 Grove Drive, Suite K 30, Los Angeles, CA 90036 and Harry Potter Spectacular will be at Little Junebugs located at 27 South El Molino Avenue, Pasadena, CA 91101. For those wishing to support this important cause, Milk + Bookies Cookies are also available for purchase online through www.isabellascookies.com where a portion of the proceeds from each sale goes directly to the charity.
