(openPR) - The most recent episodes on VernissageTV (VTV) video podcast cover:
>> Robert Gober: With approximately forty sculptures, five large-scale installations, several groups of drawings and photographs Robert Gober: Work 1976-2007 at Schaulager Basel is by far the largest exhibition of Robert Gober’s work to date. For this retrospective the Schaulager team has taken great care to reconstruct installations - some for the first time since they were created - and assemble a large number of works, the earliest of which are scarcely known at all and the most recent of which have never been exhibited before.
>> Gallery Weekend Berlin: During the Gallery Weekend Berlin (April 27 - 30, 2007) art lovers could experience exhibition openings of 29 Berlin art galleries. Those of you who have missed the Gallery Weekend Berlin 2007 are invited to join a tour with VTV correspondent Lizza May David. The place selected for Swab is an old galley arsenal in the very heart of the city. Swab International Art Fair Barcelona wants to show that there is a sweeter way to experience an art fair. Swab provides all the participating galleries with lodging in selected hotels near the fair site surrounded by restaurants, bars and museums. “A swaber will not only enjoy art, but as well the city.” (PR Swab). The selection committee for the first year of Swab International Art Fair Barcelona is made up of Leo Koenig (from Leo Koenig Inc., New York), Marta Moriarty (from Vacío 9, Madrid) and Fred Mann (from Fred London, London).
