CWC Announces Official Partners & Programme for the Prestigious Global Water: Oil & Gas Summit

(openPR) - With water becoming more and more valuable in the energy industry the Global Water: Oil & Gas Summit is the only event to bring together key decision makers and Industry experts to discuss key issues surrounding the water and oil and gas sectors, such as production levels, supply, treatment and environmental solutions.
The summit has the official partnership and support of the UAE Ministry of Environment and Water and Dubai Supreme Council of Energy as well as the support of the Global Water Intelligence and the International World Water Council.
The world’s regions, governments and businesses are realising that while oil and gas reserves provide wealth they can not substitute for the most basic commodities – Water and without sufficient water management oil and gas production in areas such as the Middle East and Central America will begin to
decline.
Held at the Madinat Jumeirah – Mina A’ Salam, Dubai under the patronage of HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Maktoum Bin Juma Al Maktoum the Global Water: Oil & Gas Summit will take place on 22‐23 May 2012.
The programme will look in‐depth at the role of water in the production of oil and gas by bringing together industry experts to explain the growing demand and importance of the water industry and the need for collaboration with the oil and gas industry.
HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Maktoum Bin Juma Al Maktoum will open the summit along with senior representatives from the UAE Ministry of Environment and Water and Dubai Supreme Council of Energy.
Industry support to date includes Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies, CH2MHILL, Bauer Resources and AES Arabia Ltd.
