Atlanta Mortgage Banking Law Firm Expands to Cobb County

(openPR) - Campbell & Brannon, L.L.C., metro Atlanta’s premier boutique mortgage banking law firm announces its expansion into Cobb County with new locations in East Cobb and Marietta and the addition of three accomplished attorneys.

Peter Babcock and Steve Jenkins will join current Campbell & Brannon attorney, Ansley Vinson, to service the East Cobb and Marietta locations on Feb. 1. James W. Moore will also join the firm and will operate out of the East Cobb and Sandy Springs locations.

“Peter, Steve and James are outstanding attorneys who know the ins and outs of this industry and have established a strong presence in Cobb County and metro Atlanta during the past two decades,” said Camille Brannon, co-founder of Campbell & Brannon. “Their addition, along with the two new locations, allows us to increase our depth and reach throughout metro Atlanta.”

Babcock, a Kentucky native, is a 1982 graduate of Boston College. He went on to earn his J.D. from Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law in 1986. He is a member of numerous legal associations including the American Bar Association and Georgia Bar Association-Real Estate Section. He remains an active member of the Atlanta Board of Realtors, the Cobb Association of Realtors, Mortgage Bankers Association of Georgia, and the Cobb Chamber of Commerce.

Moore, a 1986 University of Georgia graduate, received his J.D. from the University of Florida in 1989. He currently serves on the board of directors of the Georgia Real Estate Closing Attorneys Association (GRECAA). He previously served as president of GRECAA from 2008 to 2010. He is an active member of the Real Property Section of the State Bar of Georgia and the Mortgage Bankers Association of Georgia. Moore speaks regularly at real estate seminars on topics ranging from sales contracts to real estate trends and best practices.

Jenkins, an Ohio native, earned a B.A. degree from Georgia State University in 1976, prior to earning his J.D. from Atlanta Law School in 1979. He is a member of the American Bar Association – Real Property and Probate Section, the State Bar of Georgia – Real Estate Section, the Atlanta Bar Association – Real Estate Section, and the North Fulton Bar Association where he is a charter member. Jenkins is also an active member of the United States Marine Corps League and the Georgia Vietnam Veterans Alliance.
