Press release from: H2O GmbH

VACUDEST ZLD Technology for an wastewater free future.

VACUDEST ZLD Technology for an wastewater free future.

Steinen. The globally increasing water shortage is more and more forcing companies to find an environmentally friendly and efficient solution for their production processes. Industrial companies from a wide range of sectors in over 50 countries already benefit from sustainable wastewater treatment with VACUDEST vacuum distillation systems. The company H2O from Steinen in Baden has been pursuing the vision of wastewater-free production for over 20 years and has already set high standards with patented technologies.

With the new VACUDEST ZLD technology, the ZLD 300, the company now offers its customers an additional highly efficient option for environmentally friendly and cost-reducing wastewater treatment within the production process.
With wastewater treatment using VACUDEST, companies can reduce their wastewater volume and already cut disposal costs by up to 70%. However, the remaining residual water content of the residue can make complete disposal difficult.

Here, the VACUDEST ZLD technology sets new standards.

Through efficient energy recycling, high-quality energy is used in a second downstream evaporation stage to achieve a reduction of the residual water content to up to 20 %. The residue obtained can be processed into compact concentrate. This results in savings in disposal costs of up to another 50 % and reduces operating costs to a minimum.

Depending on the wastewater, the residues contain valuable raw materials in the form of oils or dissolved salts. In this case, the concentrate obtained can be sold, for example in the form of auxiliary fuels, or reused in the own production.
The VACUDEST ZLD 300 achieves the best possible results in combination with the patented Clearcat technology and is currently available for VACUDEST systems of size L.
