Tatelbaum, a Partner in the Fort Lauderdale office of Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP, has been elected as a member of the Board of Directors of the British American Business Council's Miami chapter (BABC Miami). As a board member, Tatelbaum will use his local, national and international business connections in order to promote greater use of the South Florida area as a hub for international business activities.

The BABC is the largest transatlantic business network. Its many chapters, including BABC Miami, are independent British-American business organizations that participate in the BABC to provide member companies with a broader transatlantic business network and other benefits, including marketing, networking and business intelligence opportunities.

Tatelbaum focuses his practice on bankruptcy and creditors’ rights, complex business litigation, Uniform Commercial Code transactions and litigation and other types of secured transactions, and domestic and international letters of credit. He is a certified specialist in business bankruptcy law by the American Board of Certification, accredited by the Florida Bar.

In addition to BABC Miami, Tatelbaum is currently Chair of the Board of Directors for the Friends of WLRN, a National Public Radio and public television affiliate. In addition, he is highly active in other charitable, nonprofit and professional organizations throughout South Florida.

Tatelbaum earned both his B.A. (1963) and J.D. (1966) from the University of Maryland.
