Restyled Federal Evidence Rules Available From Summit Legal Publishing
Press release from: Summit Legal Publishing, LLC
(openPR) - Summit Legal Publishing is pleased to announce the release of "Federal Evidence Rules, 2012 Update Edition". Containing the full text of both the restyled and traditional Federal Rules of Evidence and the official commentary detailing the changes in the restyled rules, this volume is designed to serve as a highly portable and extremely accessible reference for the evidence rules.
The new "restyled" Federal Rules of Evidence went into effect December 1, 2011. While the stated criteria for the amendments emphasizes that no substantive changes to the traditional Rules of Evidence are intended, the rules have in fact been substantially rewritten. Terminology and phrasing have been changed and modernized, and a new outline-style subsection reorganization has been effected throughout. While the substantive result of evidenitary issues might be the same under either the traditional or restyled rules, locating or citing the applicable provisions will require reference to the new restyled version of the rules.
Convenient to carry, this slim and lightweight edition of the Federal Evidence Rules will fit conveniently into any overstuffed briefcase or even a laptop bag. This edition features larger, more readable type and a single-column format for quick access to the content, making it an easy to use alternative to the more cumbersome court rules books with unreadable microtext issued by some of the other major legal publishers.
Both the traditional and restyled rules are fully indexed for the convenience of the user, and the inclusion of both versions of the rules allows quick and painless cross-referencing for those accustomed to the traditional evidence rules.
"Federal Evidence Rules, 2012 Update Edition" is available from Summit Legal Publishing, LLC as a high-quality perfect bound softcover book, or as an ebook in either Kindle or PDF format.
With offices located in Akron, Ohio, the Editorial Board of Summit Legal Publishing, LLC comprises five Managing Editors with over 60 years of combined experience in the legal publishing industry.
