CollegeAmerica Incorporates Career Services Job Board and Student Aid Calculator onOfficial Website

(openPR) - Colorado Springs, CO, Jan.24, 2012—CollegeAmerica has taken yet another step toward making college education a positive experience for its students. The college has introduced two new student support services that can be accessed on the official CollegeAmerica website.
Extending the career services already available to its students, the college has now added a job board to its website, where students can search for employment opportunities in their chosen fields of study.
The job board on CollegeAmerica’s official website aggregates data from the three main job search engines in the country: Monster.com, Indeed.com, and SimplyHired.com.
What makes the job board especially relevant for CollegeAmerica students is that it narrows down the employment listings shown to only those fields for which academic programs are available at the college. Furthermore, students have the option of searching for jobs near CollegeAmerica campuses as well as conducting a nationwide search for vacancies.
In addition, the job board page also contains links to specialized job search sites for graduates looking for employment in niche areas.
The second service introduced by the college is a financial aid tool designed to help students and parents learn more about the financial aid opportunities available to them. Recognizing the importance of cost as a deciding factor for college education, CollegeAmerica has created the student aid calculator to provide students and their parents valuable information regarding these sources of financial aid by using earnings, bank statements, and GPA and SAT/ACT score information.
The idea behind this student aid calculator is to make it easier for students to find ways and means to pay forhigher education and to remove financial barriers in their path to the maximum extent possible, with a user-friendly and easy-to-navigate tool.
