The Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu will organize the 2nd Saudi Downstream Strategic Forum & Exhibition 6-7 March 2012

(openPR) - Under the Royal Patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu will open the 2nd Saudi Downstream Forum and Exhibition on March 6 and 7, 2012 in Jubail Industrial City. Furthermore, H.E. Ali Ibrahim Al-Naimi, Minister of Petroleum & Mineral Resources will be the keynote speaker for Saudi Downstream 2012.
The event will bring together major key stakeholders and decision makers in Saudi Arabia’s downstream industry and international investors as the Kingdom develops its path to becoming a centre for complex value-added downstream petrochemical derivatives, Mineral derivatives and clusters, focusing on the opportunities surrounding the sector’s latest developments, including Jubail Industrial City, Yanbu Industrial City, Ras Alkhair Industrial City, and the Kingdom’s Downstream Master Plan.
This is the second occasion on which Saudi Downstream has held under the Royal Patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. Following resounding public and private sector support, Saudi Downstream is earmarked as the industry meeting point responsible for facilitating key public and private sector investment in the downstream industries.
The Royal Commission, established in 1975 by a Royal Decree, is the governing body responsible for the development and investment generation in core industrial sectors within Yanbu Industrial City, Jubail Industrial City and Ras Al Khair Industrial City.
