Last Minute Tutoring Placements Result in a Compromise in Full Time Tutoring

Searching for Full Time Private Tutors Early Results in Better Candidates for Full Time Private Tutor Positions
Adam Caller, who founded Tutors International (www.tutors-international.com) in 1999, urges parents who are thinking about home tutoring, after-school support, or UK or international full time private tuition, to start their search for a full time private tutor at least six months in advance of the start of the contract.
“I’ve met with several parents recently who have not contacted us for a full time private tutor early enough,” comments Caller. “At Tutors International, we only recruit the very best private tutors, with the best grades from the best educational backgrounds, so we need time to ensure we match the family with the right tutor.”
“What people sometimes fail to realise is that we often recruit private tutors who are currently employed elsewhere – in a permanent school-based teaching post, for example. We approach them with an offer, and if they accept the tutoring or home schooling placement, they will have to work out their notice period, and make relocation arrangements.”
“When parents do approach us to find a tutor at short notice, we have never failed to find one for them, and we guarantee to find a private tutor within 90 days of discussing the family’s requirements. But to hire the very best tutor, it’s always a good idea to prepare well in advance. The cost of employing a private tutor at short notice can be very high. We may have to buy a tutor out of their contract early, or pay high relocation costs – a cost which is then transferred on to our clients.”
