Scapa Group plc, a global manufacturer of bonding materials and solutions is pleased to announce their partnership with the Hallé and The Bridgewater Hall. The Hallé whose home is the iconic Bridgewater Hall in Manchester, ranks among the UK's top symphonic ensembles.

Heejae Chae, Scapa’s CEO said: “we are very excited to partner with the Hallé and The Bridgewater Hall. To be associated with such a famous orchestra and venue gives us an opportunity to promote Scapa and also to give something back to our local community. We are very supportive of the Hallé’s work, not only in providing entertainment of the highest quality, but also in working with young people and leading projects that use the power of music to bring people together. Teamwork, through partnership and collaboration, is one of our values at Scapa and we will ensure that our staff, customers and the other charities that we support will also benefit from this initiative.”

John Summers, the Hallé's Chief Executive, said: "We are absolutely delighted that Scapa will be joining the corporate membership scheme at the Hall and we look forward to greeting their staff, customers and friends to many Hallé events in the future".

Nick Reed, Chief Executive of The Bridgewater Hall, added: "The Bridgewater Hall is delighted to welcome Scapa as a Corporate Member. As a company based in Manchester but with a global reach, Scapa is a perfect partner for The Bridgewater Hall, an iconic Manchester building that is recognised around the world of music. We look forward to welcoming Scapa to the benefits of Corporate Membership, and to a long association".

About the Hallé
Founded in Manchester by Sir Charles Hallé in 1858, the Hallé gave its first concert in the city’s Free Trade Hall on 30 January of that year. The Hallé performs over 70 concerts a year in The Bridgewater Hall, its Manchester home, as well as making over 40 appearances annually throughout the rest of Britain. Sir Mark Elder became Music Director in 2000 and in both 2006 and 2011 was honoured by the Royal Philharmonic Society. The Hallé’s own CD label features the music of English composers, especially Elgar and Colin Matthews, as well as Debussy, Wagner and Shostakovich. A number of recordings have been honoured with prestigious awards including five Gramophone Awards in the past three years.
Last season over a quarter of a million people heard the Hallé, of which more than 30,000 were inspired by the Hallé’s pioneering education programme, generating over 60 projects a year.
