Kamstrup Presents Two Innovative Smart Metering Products at E-world 2012
Press release from: Kamstrup A/S
(openPR) - The Invisible MultiUtility-Controller and the Award Honoured Water Meter
The Invisible MUC - This is how complex multi-utility-supply is made easy: No hardware, no configuration, just high-performing data communication.
The new Multi-Utility Controller from Kamstrup comes as an integrated module in the smart meter where it collects data via Wireless M-Bus from all residential meters for gas, water, heat and cooling. The integrated MUC communicates the collected consumption data to the concentrator and thereby includes all residential meters in the wireless Radio Mesh Network – using only one technology for all supply forms, including electricity. The MUC creates a high-performing multipoint-to-point network in which the multi-supplier of energy and water needs only RF technology for data collection. The Radio Mesh Network communicates independently of disturbances in the power line grid which reinforces the read-out success rate compared to cabled solutions. Furthermore, the Kamstrup MUC is self-configuring providing a real plug-&-play system in which the smart meter simply needs to be installed in order to transmit data.
Award Honoured Water Meter - A new face to intelligent water metering.
The intelligent water meter, MULTICAL 21, that has been awarded with the ‘iF Product Design Award 2012’ remodels the ways of installing, providing customer service and performing meter reading. The intelligent design appeals to water suppliers, plumbers as well as to end customers. The ultrasonic measuring principle guarantees high accuracy over a long product life enhancing customer satisfaction and reducing complaints. A large, easy readable digital display secures correct readings of consumption; and the integrated Wireless M-Bus module makes remote meter reading via hand-held device or Radio Mesh Network an uncomplicated operation. The electronic meter is made of the composite material PPS, which makes it both light and 100% protected against penetration of water. It can therefore be installed e.g. outdoors in meter pits and in wet areas without losing functionality or damaging the electronics.

Your portal is fast, simple, and easy to use. Others may have more functions but they also demand more editing time, you have to preformat the text in order to achieve a good result etc.
