PSI Presents Transport Control Technology Solution PSItraffic at IT-Trans 2012
Press release from: PSI AG
(openPR) - Berlin, 17 January 2012 – PSI subsidiary PSI Transcom GmbH will present new developments and successful project examples of public transportation technology from 15 to 17 February at the IT-Trans (Hall 1, Stand G9) in Karlsruhe. The focus will be on the PSItraffic Depot Management System for the support and optimisation of processes at bus and rail vehicle depots.
PSItraffic is scalable so that the number of depots can be expanded. By securing functional extensions, the impacts on operations can be planned when the system is implemented. With the use of PSItraffic, operations are planned and controlled from the entrance of the vehicles to the depots to their exit, in the garages, during maintenance and disposition.
PSI uses the latest RFID technologies, transponder systems and interfaces to the point mechanisms for tracking the vehicles so as to identify them when entering and leaving the maintenance areas and in the garages and to locate them in the parking lots.
As a participant in the Market Update Forum, on 17 February 2012 PSI will, on the basis of successful examples, explain how their depot management solution can be applied to efficiently deploy resources and to realise substantial savings.
PSI AG develops and integrates complete solutions, on the basis of its own software products, for the management of energy networks (electricity, gas, oil, heat), production management (metals, automotive, mechanical engineering, mining, logistics) and infrastructure management for transport and safety. PSI was founded in 1969 and employs more than 1.450 persons in the group. www.psi.de, www.psitrans.de

Comments about openPR
OpenPR ist the nicest and most clearly laid out PR platform I have seen to this day. The press releases are displayed very nicely and clearly and without any unnecessary frills.
The updates are fast and the finished release looks appealing and is clearly legible.
Even with 16 years of experience one discovers new things from time to time.
Congratulations!
