TUI UK is one of the largest travel organisations in the world commonly known to the general public as First Choice, Thomson, Arke and Holland international.

After several intensive meetings and onsite visits, Tui has decided to assign Active Constructions to build this High Ropes Course.
The unique way of building and the responsible use of building materials was for TUI the decisive factor, says Jon Allen, quality controller of TUI, during his visit to the Dutch projects of Active Constructions.
Especially the way how Active Constructions respects Nature in the construction of the poles park is unique says Jon Allen.
This is fully reflected in the choice of material and design
This means that Douglas wood, a responsible wood species with good qualities is increasingly being used. The use of concrete and steel is in the technical design limited to the absolute minimum
In addition ACS offers security at the highest level.

Shape and design
What makes this climbing park so special is the design says General Director of ACS, Kees-Jan Verwaal . We received a Request for Proposal from TUI to put together a different concept.

With our passion for the profession and the extensive experience as a designer and constructor in the outdoor area, it wasn’t any problem for us to meet the expectations of TUI says Verwaal

Safety
All employees of ACS are certified builders on height with heaps of experience.
When the climbing park is being opened the user is being equipped with the “Saferoller” the safety System from Switzerland with the highest safety standards.

This unique climbing park is being built on the fantastic “First Choice Holiday Village Park of TUI UK on the sunny island of Menorca
The climbing park is being build en certified according to the ERCA standards EN 15567, 1 and 2. The constructions will start in January and is expected to open his doors in April 2012.
