“Brazil is one of England’s favorite competitors. The convergence of this intense match-up along with the opening of Wembley is sure to be an event that fans will not soon forget,” says Marcel Stillekens, co-owner of EuroBookings.com (www.eurobookings.com), the popular European hotel bookings company.
“Right now with just about 3 weeks until kick off, the majority of area hotels are still available. However, with an event like this, it’s not uncommon for as much as 85% of area hotels to become filled 7-10 days prior,” says Stillekens who encourages attendees to book UK hotels early to avoid limited choices.
Stillekens says that of the approximate 530 UK hotels and 299 hotels within close proximity to Wembley, that approximately 78% are still available to for booking.
Using EuroBookings.com’s hotel locator tool, travelers can filter the 530 results for UK hotels to reveal only those near various landmarks, shopping centers, parks, airports, or convention centers such as Wembley Stadium. Each hotel listing also includes a detailed street map so that travelers can see the exact proximity of each hotel to the location of interest.
“Booking hotels early means that football fans can spend more of their money enjoying themselves at the game and having a riot with fans before and after the game rather than on last-minute hotels rooms that are more expensive or more exorbitant than they would have liked.” says Stillekens.
