"Digital Open Mic Night" Postponed
Press release from: Nikki Young
(openPR) - RadioSanAntonio.com has announced the postponement of its latest program as it prepares to move forward with a new partnership and a new name.
Jay Tope, Program Director at RadioSanAntonio.com, announced that the growing Internet radio station has partnered with WhoKnewCities.com, a business portal founded by Gary Pierce. “Every radio station, whether it’s on air or online, wants to reach as wide an audience as possible,” Tope explains. “With Gary’s resources and relationships, WhoKnewCities.com will help expand our station’s market reach and bring our programming to a new level.”
As the station – which will now air under the name of Who Knew Radio – prepares to take the next step in its evolution, it has postponed the launch of “Digital Mic Open Night”. The program, a showcase for Texas music hosted by noted performer, producer, and promoter Nikki Young, was originally scheduled to premiere in its regular time slot from 6-8pm on Sunday, January 8, with a live broadcast event from Sam Ash Music Store in San Antonio. “Change is the one constant in the media business,” Young, “but it can also bring growth, and I think this is going to be a great opportunity for growth for everyone at Who Knew Radio. I’m looking forward to seeing where the station and this show will go from here.” The show will debut at a later date, to be announced by WhoKnewCities.com.
Programming currently airing on the station will continue; for more details, please visit the station’s new address, www.whoknewcities.com.
