Ann Arbor Buyer's Real Estate Company Upgrades Agents to iPhone 4S

The Home Buyer's Agent, an Ann Arbor buyer's real estate company, had shifted all of its buyer agents to the Apple iPhone platform in 2009 and is now upgrading to the iPhone 4S.
Ann Arbor, Michigan, US, December 30, 2011 -- The Home Buyer's Agent, an Ann Arbor buyer's real estate company, has shifted all of its buyer agents to the new Apple iPhone 4S platform. The effort was done to improve service to home buyers and to foster team adaptation of the many new more powerful real estate related applications available on the iPhone.
"We've been on the iPhone since 2009 and having this more powerful tool at our fingertips when we are out in the field evaluating homes with home buyers is a great benefit to the people we help." said Jon Boyd, Broker for the company. Boyd noted that adopting new technologies takes an investment in time and training, but the upgrade path from the previous IPhone 3 to the 4S went quite smoothly.
Agents in the company have used their iPhones for many tasks including: 1. Providing an aerial view of the area when they are at a home. 2. Live video streaming when one or both buyers can't be at a home during inspections or property viewing. 3. Providing a financial calculator to determine monthly payments and budgeting. 4. Providing a tool to access the property data systems in the field. 5. Providing a Global Positioning System for home touring directions. 6. Providing an access point for public records data systems. 7. Providing a camera to snap pictures and videos of inspection issues to immediately email the seller's agent for discussion or negotiation. 8. Providing a calendar for scheduling meetings. 9. Providing an easy to edit and back-up contact database. 10. Providing a blogging and social media platform.
