Heating and Ventilation Ductwork Experts Hargreaves Appoint New Business Development Manager

Construction industry veteran Gary Parslow has joined the team at heating and ventilation specialist Senior Hargreaves. As business development manger he brings in-depth experience to the company at a critical time in the businesses development.
Gary has 32 years experience in the heating, ventilation and air-conditioning industry, most recently as a director at Isotemp, the specialist South Wales ventilation ductwork contractor. Previous projects for which he was responsible include work on the Large Hadron Collider at Cern, the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, Dock 9 at the Royal Devonport Dockyard in Plymouth and Hunterston Power Station.
While nurturing existing key accounts, Gary will also be developing new business in the industrial, power, transport, commercial and technology sectors. “This is a great time to be joining Hargreaves,” he commented. “The business has been transformed in recent years with the introduction of environmental impact mitigation systems, lean manufacturing and improved quality systems. The new CEO, Tim Hopkinson, is committed to maintain the momentum of modernisation and continuous improvement.”
In a separate appointment, Dagenham man Terry Smith has joined the company as the east London Ductshop depot manager. A heating and ventilation industry veteran, with 14 years experience working for a rival company, Terry knows the HVAC trade business well. Terry has a staff of three and vast stocks of ductwork in spiral and rectangular formats, grilles, dampers, fans, accessories and tools. Situated on Fairview Industrial Park in Rainham, the Ductshop is well placed to service customers in Kent and Essex as well as the east London boroughs.
Senior Hargreaves is one of the largest HVAC manufacturers and contractors in the UK. In addition to standard ventilation ductwork, the company produce Hargreaves Fire Duct, a specially engineered fire resistant duct to remove heat and products of combustion in fire. Other areas of expertise include systems for the nuclear industry, emergency ventilation for transport infrastructure, systems for sport, leisure and conference venues and ductwork for use in research and advanced manufacturing.
