(openPR) - The addition of Grupo IURIS (Benito Asesores y Abogados, S.L. and Stella Iuris, S.L.) has boosted the presence of the Russell Bedford España professional services network in the Spanish capital Madrid.

Benito Asesores was founded in 2005 as the result of a split from the Employment Law Department of one of the second tier accounting groups. Further fields of specialisation have been gradually added, transforming the firm into a professional services group covering corporate law, M&A and litigation as well as employment law, accounting and tax compliance and payroll services. The group's outsourced accounting, tax and payroll services are offered under the Stella Iuris brand.

The group's founding partner is José Miguel Benito Notario. He is a lawyer specialising in labour, social security, family and football-related law. He has also been an Associate Professor at the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and the Centro de Estudios Financieros (CEF).

María Consolación (Chelo) Borrás Retamero is a managing partner specialising in commercial/corporate law and mergers and acquisitions.

Raúl Herrera García, also a managing partner, is a lawyer specialising in civil and mercantile procedural law and insolvency and bankruptcy procedures.

All the partners are admitted to the Bar Association of Madrid (Ilustre Colegio de Abogados de Madrid).
