(openPR) - Popular Weekend Radio Personality Roy Gray Is Donating 'Dry Liner' Announcing Services To Legitimate Charities
May 14, 2007 - Charitable organizations are are likely to increase the funds raised for their causes, as Popular Weekend Radio Personality Roy Gray pledges to donate his announcing/voice-over services to charity one evening per month.
This unprecedented donation gives event producers who have adopted charities routine access to top-notch announcing talent for a wide range of fundraisers, including, but not limited to awards ceremonies, fashion shows, and concerts.
"I believe in helping the community and this is a way for me to do so consistently," said Gray, who has served as voice-over artist for awards shows and marketing projects.
Gray says he will also make his talent donations available on CD (dry liners, no music, no sound effects) for events outside of California and your event qualifies, if at least 50% of your proceeds is going to a legitimate charity.
"I am not interested in donating services to organizations that have less than a 50% charity commitment at this time," the announcer insisted.
Roy Gray is an independent voice-over artist. When you are watching an awards show and hear an announcement by someone you can't see, you are listening to a voice-over artist. Same goes for movies, commercials, news--even the high quality recorded announcements you hear when you contact a business by phone.
Gray is also a freelance radio reporter and is always looking for your help tracking down the following stories and more:
1. A book author who has witnessed the impact her/his work has had on the community
2. A day in the life of a jazz musician or singer who wants to inspire the world
3. An examination of exceptional anti-violence programs
4. A profile of a person who seems to be always "there-for-you"
5. A profile of a super successful person who insists on remaining drug-free
6. Reports about your mentor
