SteadyRain Honored with International Award for iPad Mobile Application Development

SteadyRain, St. Louis based digital agency, announces award win within The International Davey Awards. Success is attributed to the mobile development project for the SteadyRain branded iPad application.
The SteadyRain team developed the mobile application (app) and debuted the app at an event during the 2010 Missouri Governor’s Conference. The purpose of this mobile application was to not only highlight SteadyRain service offerings in a fun and interesting way but to also provide an interactive kiosk for event attendees. The iPad app included an online marketing quiz, designed to test knowledge on search engine optimization, paid advertising, and social media.
SteadyRain understands the importance mobile development will play in the future and success of business development. As consumers depend more on mobile devices for everyday information, shopping, or communications, companies must adapt.
“SteadyRain has been developing mobile solutions with clients for a few years now. We decided that we needed an iPad app that would display our capabilities in a fun and intuitive way,” said Joe Marcallini, Vice President of Internet Strategy at SteadyRain. “The iPad is a great tool for kiosk display at events, conferences, and seminars. This was a fun project to work on that encompassed many aspects of multimedia including, audio, video, and imagery.”
SteadyRain continues to utilize the branded iPad application in various ways. For example, the app functions as an informative portal during industry events and career fairs.
Over the course of SteadyRain’s 12 years in operation, the agency has been awarded numerous awards and accolades within the categories of web design and development, mobile technology, and online marketing. With continued growth seen in 2011, SteadyRain continues a trend of excellence.
