(openPR) - Defending champion Jason Crump is preparing for round two of the 2007 Speedway Grand Prix World Championship. It takes place May 12 at the 35,000 seat Olympic Stadium in Wroclaw, Poland. Wroclaw is the fourth largest city in Poland. It is located on the Oder River approximately 190 miles southwest of Warsaw and 125 miles east of Dresden, Germany.

The Australian racer won the first of his four Grand Prix wins last year at this track, but Crump has no illusions about what lies ahead. “I’m not going to Poland to make up the numbers,” he said. “I’m going there to win. We’ve sorted out the problems we had in Italy.”

Crump said he is confident he will have a better result this race. “I always look forward to racing in Poland,” he said. “Speedway is their number one sport and they have a massive following. The stadium will be packed to capacity and the atmosphere generated by the Polish people is fantastic. It’s going to be a good night.”

Crump uses K&N Engineering products. “The K&N Air Filters keep the dirt out of the engine,” he said. “In good or bad weather K&N is the best for dirt track racing. I always count on K&N Products to keep the dirt out of my engine.”

Currently the 16-time Grand Prix winner is 4th in point standings.
